Will a reservation be required for rentals?

Reservations are not required, but are strongly recommended. We will work off your renter data and select appropriately sized gear for your rental experience. By having a reservation, your equipment will be set aside with your name, pre-teched, and ready to go the day before your first ski day. This GRAB & GO process will absolutely expedite your rental experience and help limit the time spent in our stores.

How do I make a reservation?

Simply click the reservation link BOOK NOW, “Reserve Skis/Boards”, choose your shop location, and follow the easy-to-read steps.

Can I pick up my rental equipment the day before my first ski day?

Yes, absolutely! When making a reservation and choosing your dates of skiing, check the box indicating that you will pick up your rental after 1 pm and before 7 pm the day before your first ski/ride day. If you are delayed, do not worry, we always hold the reservations for 24 hours from pick up date.

Do you recommend that guests pick up their rental equipment the day before their first ski day?

Yes, absolutely. When making a reservation, select the location renting, enter the first day of rental, last day of rental, and check the box indicating that you will pick up your rental after 1 pm and before 7 pm the day before your first ski/ride day. If you are delayed, do not worry, we always hold the reservations for 24 hours from pick up date.

Can I exchange my equipment if I want something different?

You Bet! Skiers and riders often change models and/or lengths during the course of their stay. You can exchange at any time, at any of our locations and even switch between skis and snowboards! We want to make sure you have a no-hassle experience in the shops, so you can have a great time on the hill.

What are your rental shop hours?

Winter shop hours are from 8 am to 6 pm, daily. Holiday Hours Dec 18-Jan 5, Jan 16-20 and Feb 13-17 8 am – 7 pm.  During the Summer, we are open from 9 am to 6 pm.

What if I don’t know my ski boot size?

Your boot will most likely be the exact same size as the shoe you are currently wearing. Our ski boots have been selected for their comfort and performance. Our trained technicians will convert your shoe size and fit each customer individually in our shops to ensure a proper fit before you hit the hill.

What if I rent skis for 3 days but I decide to snowboard the last day?

No Problem! Bring your skis in and we’ll set you up on a snowboard. There may be a slight price adjustment depending on the package you select.

Can I reserve a specific ski or snowboard?

Yes! Simply include the specific request in the “Questions/Special Requests” section. We cannot guarantee a specific request, but we will do our best to provide the requested equipment, of find you a suitable alternative.

Can I rent from one location and return to another?

Yes! You may pick up and drop off at any one of our convenient locations.

What are the largest ski boot and snowboard boot in your inventory?

We carry up to a size 15 ski and snowboard boot, advanced reservations are strongly recommended as we have limited quantities in those sizes.

What if I have my own boots?

Simply choose the ski or board package you would like to reserve, but do not check “with boots”. As long as your boots meet industry standards (i.e. no excessive wear), we will adjust our skis to your boots at the time of fitting.

Will I be charged for days I rent but do not use my equipment?

Yes, you are charged for all days that you reserve your equipment.

What is your cancellation policy?

All reservations that are not cancelled within 24 hours will be charged a 1 day rental of all equipment reserved, to the credit card on file.

How Much Are Ski Boot Rentals?

Ski boot rentals are not available without skis.

Can You Use Your Own Ski Boots With Rentals?

Yes, you can use your own ski boots with rental skis.

Do Ski Rentals Come With Boots?

Yes, when boots are selected during the rental process.

What Does Ski Rental Include?

Packages are built dynamically, guest indicate “with boots” and “with helmets” and are charged accordingly.

Do Ski Rental Helmets Come With Goggles?

No, goggles are not available for rent and are not included with helmet rentals. They are available for sale. Goggles have a soft liner that would absorb sweat from a guest, and would not be good rental products. Also they can scratch easily and therefore would not be good rentals.

Do Lift Tickets Include Ski Rentals?

No, lift tickets do not include rentals, The mountain operator is the only entity that can offer lift tickets and lessons, and rentals are an additional charge.

How Much Are Ski Rentals?

Depends on the location (market), package request, group size and if the guest made a reservation in advance or through a lodging partner. By reserving in advance, guests receive up to a 35% discount off of rentals, plus tax a 4% Rental Facility Fee and a $5 per day DAMAGE WAIVER INSURANCE.

We do not offer boot only rentals.

Do Snowboard Rentals Come With Boots?

Are Snowboard Rentals Good?

We offer snowboard rentals for all ages and abilities, from high quality demo snowboards for advanced riders to more basic “LTR” Learn to Ride boards for beginners.

What Do Snowboard Rentals Include?

What Size Snowshoes Do I Need?

We offer snowshoes in two sizes, men’s and women’s. We do not offer kids snowshoes.

How Do Snowshoes Work?

Snowshoes strap on over your hiking shoes or boots and adjust to your feet. The additional surface area helps you to stay on top of the snow, and not sink in.

How To Put On Snowshoes?

Snowshoes strap on over your hiking shoes or boots and adjust to your feet.

How To Hang My Snowshoes?

Snowshoes come in an easy to carry bag, and include hiking poles.

How To Walk In Snowshoes?

Snowshoes are no different than walking in a hiking shoe or boot.

How To Attach Snowshoes To A Backpack?

One could attach snowshoes to their backpack by clipping the straps to the backpack.

What Shoes Do You Wear With Snowshoes?

We recommend wearing comfortable, waterproof hiking shoes or boots.
