Will a reservation be required for my Copper Mountain ski rentals?

Reservations are not required, but they’re highly recommended, especially during peak season. When you book ahead, our Copper Mountain Village team uses your renter information to pre-set the right gear for your height, weight, and ability level. Your equipment is pre-teched, labeled with your name, and ready for quick pick-up through our convenient Grab & Go process. This saves you time in the shop and gets you on the slopes faster, ensuring a smoother ski rental experience at Copper Mountain.

Simply click the reservation link BOOK NOW, “Reserve Skis/Boards”, choose the Copper Mountain Village shop location, and follow the easy-to-read steps.

Our current winter shop hours are from 8 am to 6 pm daily. During the Summer, we are open from 9 am to 6 pm.

Yes, absolutely! When making a reservation at the Copper Mountain Village location, check the box indicating that you will pick up your rental after 1 pm and before 7 pm the day before your first ski/ride day. If you are delayed, do not worry, we always hold the reservations for 24 hours from pick up date.

Yes! Simply include the specific request in the “Questions/Special Requests” section when reserving skis or snowboards at the Copper Mountain Village location. We cannot guarantee a specific request, but we will do our best to provide the requested equipment, of find you a suitable alternative.

Yes. Because we are just steps from the lifts in Copper Mountain Village, riders change models and/or lengths during the course of their day. You can exchange at any time, at any of our locations and even switch between skis and snowboards! We want to make sure you have a no-hassle experience in the shops, so you can have a great time at Copper.

Yes! You may pick up at our Copper location and drop off at any one of our convenient locations.

At Copper Mountain Village, Charter Sports, we will follow all local, county, and state guidelines. This may include limiting the number of guests inside our stores, facial coverings, social distancing, sanitation stations, floor markings, plexiglass protective barriers, touchless payment, and all rental equipment will be sanitized prior to each use. We will also implement enhanced cleaning procedures for high touch areas throughout our stores, as well as increased frequency. As CDC guidelines permit, we will ease these requirements as necessary.

Slope-side rental shops within the village offer the most convenient access to lifts and eliminate long equipment carries.

Yes. If conditions change or you’d like to try a different model, equipment swaps are available based on availability.

For intermediate to advanced skiers exploring bowls, steeps, or variable snow, demo skis can significantly improve performance and enjoyment.

Picking up the afternoon before your first ski day is recommended to avoid peak morning traffic.
