We had a fantastic experience renting from Charter Sports! The convenience of renting directly from our hotel and being able to return the gear on the mountain made everything so easy. The equipment was great, and the staff was super helpful. A special shout-out to Phil for taking such great care of us—his friendly service and expertise made the process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend Charter Sports for anyone looking for hassle-free ski rentals!

Great experience with the folks at Charter Sports in Lionshead at Vail! I brought my shoes and was going to bring clipless pedals for a ride, and I forgot the pedals. I was thinking I was out of luck and I offhandedly walked down to Charter (I was staying right near there), and Derrick working there is really cool and just loans me these nice pedals, completely saying it's all good and telling me to just bring them back when I'm done. Awesome service, and I wasn't even renting anything there, I had just walked in!...

My granddaughter and I rented E bikes for a half-day trip around Vail. We were so grateful for Phil, he spent time with us to determine what type of trip we were looking for. Once we told him it was a leisurely ride he showed us all the places where we should stop. He even recommended getting tickets for evening symphony. (Which happened to be the New York Philharmonic Orchestra) We spent time at the Betty Ford Botanical Gardens, rode through beautiful neighborhoods, the golf course etc. If it wasn’t for Phil and all of his great recommendations, and it would not have been nearly as memorable. Thanks again Charter Sports for making it a very special day.

Stopped in to pick up boots and skis, was greeted by Kyden and Guadalupe (Lupe). Both were very friendly, Kyden was very knowledgeable about skis and my need for wider ski boots. Loved the 1st class service I received, Lupe put my boots on my feet and buckled them up for me. No one has ever done that for me!! Quality of the boots and skis were unmatched as they were the most comfortable ski boots ever worn. I am not kidding!! Would definitely rent from this company again--Wonderful staff, superb customer service, high quality ski equipment. Reasonable rates for rental too. Highly recommend Charter Sports!!

Orlando Ski and Travel Club took 21 members to Vail Jan 4-11th, Charter Sports Lion Square North did an excellent job meeting our needs and going the extra mile. They made sure the boots fit properly and the skis were ready each morning. I would highly recommend them for your next visit to Vail.

By far the most positive and enjoyable ski rental experience we’ve ever had! Robert and his team handled everything professionally and expediently, and were so patient/sweet/helpful with the kids. Check in was seamless. The ski equipment was all top-of-the-line, boots fit perfectly, and the skis handled all terrain beautifully. Equipment return was as easy, if not easier than check-in. We will only be renting from Charter Sports for Vail skiing moving forward. Highly recommend!

Incredible service! My family was in town for some sweet summertime fun and Carlee in Vail made the entire experience seamless start to finish. From rentals, guide service, loading, unloading, to all around friendliness and comfort for the whole family. We will 100% be back soon and also recommending Charter Sports with Carlee to anyone we meet that is ready for adventure in a wholesome, safe, family fun way. Best rental shop in Vail! Phil and his team were very nice and knowledgeable. They helped me and my other four friends to pick the appropriate ski equipment set. Their rates are very reasonable and they are truly patient, fair, and caring about their customers. Definitely will go back to this shop in our next ski trip to Vail. 100% recommended!

My family and I rented skis from Charter Sports at Lion Square North and could not have been happier with the service provided. Each employee was very kind and helpful, and made sure that we got exactly the right product for us. Will definitely return here next time, and would recommend to anyone needing ski rentals!

The absolute BEST place to rent in Vail. Every member of the team at Charter is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. It could not be easier to rent here; we’ve come back again and again over 5+ years and they just bring up our information from previous years and get us going in no time at all. THE BEST!!
